Directions

Our Design Mission

Today's era is facing the greatest change ever seen in a century, and new concepts and approaches are urgently needed to examine change and address new challenges in the Anthropocene, with the aim of enhancing people's well-being, strengthening organizational resilience, and driving positive change on the planet. Design, as an innovative anticipatory action, is gradually evolving from object-centered, user-centered, society-centered, and nature-centered to future-centered development. The discipline direction "Design Futures" is based on design, futurology, and forecasting, and takes the future possibilities of things - including the dynamic development of human subjects and external objects - as a new content and criterion for design. -as the new content and standard of design. It is an ontological, epistemological and methodological knowledge system, but also has a unique practice model and innovation ecology.
